Carroll College is seeking applicants for an Educational Technology Specialist position. This role supports the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of instructional technology across the College, ensuring classroom environments, learning technologies, and academic spaces are reliable, accessible, modern, and aligned with the College's educational mission.

About the Role

This position provides expert technical leadership for classroom audiovisual systems, hybrid learning environments, academic software, and digital collaboration tools. The role requires close collaboration with faculty, Academic Affairs, CCIT, Facilities, and external partners to advance technology-enabled pedagogy and support institutional learning objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of instructional technology.
  • Ensure classroom environments, learning technologies, and academic spaces are reliable, accessible, and modern.
  • Provide technical leadership for audiovisual systems, hybrid learning environments, academic software, and digital collaboration tools.
  • Collaborate with faculty, Academic Affairs, CCIT, Facilities, and external partners to advance technology-enabled pedagogy.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in instructional technology, information technology, educational technology, communications, engineering, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience supporting classroom technology, audiovisual systems, instructional technology, or technology-enhanced learning environments.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
