Educational Data Analyst

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Educational Data Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role focuses on helping school district leaders make better use of data to support educators and students. You will design dashboards and metrics that turn complex educational information into clear, actionable insights. The position also partners closely with data scientists and engineers to strengthen the data platform and improve the reliability of reporting tools. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Engage with school district leaders to assess their data analytics needs
• Design and develop customized metrics and dashboards
• Utilize SQL for managing databases and executing queries
• Provide ongoing support for data dashboards by troubleshooting and resolving issues
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to enhance the data platform

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or in a similar role
• Experience with educational data and familiarity with K-12 schools
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard design
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Nice to have: Experience with Python for data cleaning and analysis
• Nice to have: Experience with K12 Student Information Systems

Pay

$110,000 – $120,000 annually
