Responsibilities

• Coaching both Guides and students through performance metrics, classroom observation, and clear feedback, then maintaining accountability to quantifiable objectives for both groups
• Leading one-hour interactive workshops for K-3 students focused on life skills including public speaking, concentration, teamwork, resilience, accountability, and feedback practices
• Conducting individual and small-group sessions that align each child's personal goals and interests with tangible academic advancement
• Creating and iterating on playbooks that transform your most effective methods into systematic processes other Guides can implement reliably
• Providing training to Guides on these playbooks and demonstrating facilitation excellence to preserve standards during team expansion

Qualifications

• Available to work on-site at an Alpha campus in Austin, TX or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ; relocation assistance is available
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with elementary-aged children (approximately ages 5 to 9)
• Track record leading a team of 5 or more individuals, with decision-making authority for hiring and performance-based removals
• Demonstrated experience building, launching, or substantially scaling a program, team, school, or initiative from inception rather than managing an established operation
• Willing to work in an educational environment that rejects conventional teaching methodologies
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline
• Proven ability using data tools, dashboards, or analytics to identify issues and produce measurable improvements
• Proven ability coaching or managing other adults to achieve quantifiable results, beyond individual execution
• History of coaching or managing other adults to achieve quantifiable results, beyond individual execution
• Proven ability facilitating sessions or speaking publicly to groups of young children
