About the role

Dempsey Middle School seeks an Educational Assistant - Class I, 1:1 to support students in their learning process.

Responsibilities

• Supports students in their academic progress under the supervision of teachers.
• Assists in classroom management and organization.
• Provides individualized attention to students as needed.
• Performs supplemental class I duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for the $.50 premium pay.
• Must meet the qualifications of a highly qualified paraprofessional.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.

Skills

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of educational strategies and techniques.

• Daily Hours: 7:10 am-2:55 pm
