About the role
Woodward Elementary School OAPSE Bargaining Unit is seeking an Educational Assistant, Class I.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in the classroom
- Support students with learning needs
- Help maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- Must meet qualifications of a highly qualified paraprofessional
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Ohio teaching license
- Experience working with children in educational settings preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of educational principles and practices
- Basic computer skills
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good physical stamina
