Educational Assistant

About the role

The Educational Assistant will support students in a variety of academic and social settings, providing individualized attention and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
• Provide one-on-one support to students during class time
• Help organize classroom materials and supplies
• Moderate student behavior and maintain a safe learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to enhance student learning outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Experience working with children in educational settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (if applicable)

Qualifications

• Passing score on a background check
• Current CPR and First Aid certification

Pay

$18.50 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
