Educational Aide (Prekindergarten).

Duties

• Maintains a clean and organized learning environment.
• Ensures continuity of program in teacher’s absence.
• Maintains a clean and organized learning environment.
• Monitors students during various phases of school day.
• Assists with teaching personal care routines: feeding, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Prepares instructional materials related to classroom lessons.
• Operates Instructional equipment and technology devices.
• Accompanies/supervises students on field trips.
• Produces material to display educational objectives to class.
• Applies assistive technology for recording student data.
• Participates in home visits, parent teacher conferences and other meetings.

Requirements

• Conditions of employment: Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
• Direct deposit of pay is required.
• Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
• This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
• Two year trial period may be required.
