Duties
- Maintains a clean and organized learning environment.
- Ensures continuity of program in teacher’s absence.
- Maintains a clean and organized learning environment.
- Monitors students during various phases of school day.
- Assists with teaching personal care routines: feeding, toileting and personal hygiene.
- Prepares instructional materials related to classroom lessons.
- Operates Instructional equipment and technology devices.
- Accompanies/supervises students on field trips.
- Produces material to display educational objectives to class.
- Applies assistive technology for recording student data.
- Participates in home visits, parent teacher conferences and other meetings.
Requirements
- Conditions of employment: Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
- This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
- Two year trial period may be required.
