Pay
$24.72/hr.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 37.5 hrs./week

Responsibilities
- Support student instruction under the direction of the teacher or supervising staff
- Implement behavior plans
- Perform tasks to maintain an effective classroom environment
- IEP Support and Instructional Assistance
- Lesson Plan Support and Data Tracking
- Classroom and Operational Support
- Home and School Communication Support
- Behavioral Plan Implementation and Crisis Intervention
- Behavior Data Collection and Documentation
- Adhere to The Summit Center Core Agency Values of Adaptability, Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, Optimism, and Respect
- Adhere to the Summit Center employment policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook including, but not limited to dress code, attendance, punctuality, and Paid Time Off
- Perform any other duties as requested by your supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Six months of direct clinical or educational experience with children or adults with developmental disabilities preferred
- SCIP-R certification (to be provided by agency)
- Ukeru certification (to be provided by agency)
- Must be dependable, patient, able to follow directions, and work well with students and staff
- Must be able to drive to various locations using their own vehicle
- This position requires work outside of regular business hours as needed
Work Environment
- Due to the behavioral disorders of the students served at Summit Academy Enhanced, staff may be at risk of intentional or unintentional acts of aggression (e.g., hitting, kicking, and biting)
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- The position may require local and regional travel
