Education Supervisor-Adjunct, Part-time

About the role

The School of Education and Human Services at Cornerstone University is seeking adjunct instructors to supervise practicum students, with a focus on K-12 and secondary education, with specific emphasis on special education.

Responsibilities

• Observing interns within the greater Grand Rapids area
• Aiding in the development of goals for interns
• Corresponding with and observing interns
• Communicating with cooperating teachers
• Evaluating student performance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A valid teaching license
• Significant teaching experience
• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active Christian commitment
• An ability to affirm and sign the university’s doctrinal statement, “The Cornerstone Confession”
• Support for Cornerstone University’s Core Commitments
• A theology that aligns with the university’s mission and values
• Experience within a 50-mile radius of Cornerstone University’s main campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan
