Education Specialist (Hybrid) - Instructional Design Studio
About the role
Position responsible for education and training activities, development of materials, organization of programs and monitoring their success.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops educational framework for seminars, conferences and in-service programs.
- Develops educational materials including Q & A documents, overheads, slides, forms and other teaching tools.
- Generates Quarterly Newsletter.
- Maintains website.
- Develops departmental education program, including on federal regulatory compliance.
- Establishes educational programs for: investigators and research support staff; members of Committees (including faculty and staff); and departmental staff.
- Provides ongoing one-on-one education as needed for anyone in the WashU Medical Center research community.
- Maintains education and training program files.
- Analyzes submission materials/committee letters and prepares reports to determine needs and to measure the program’s success.
- Acts as liaison to departments/divisions, investigators and their support staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
Job Location/Working Conditions Normal office environment. Ability to travel to various on- and off-campus locations. Physical Effort Typically sitting at desk or table. Equipment Office equipment.
Education
Required Qualifications: Associate degree.
