About the role

Vaughn Youth House empowers and strengthens the lives of children, youth, and families through inclusive programming that builds resilience and fosters growth and independence. We work from a Trauma Informed / Healing centered perspective, incorporating positive youth and human development and cultural awareness into all aspects of our agency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services within the Easton Area School District at least 60% of the total time worked and document progress.
  • Facilitate small group and classroom lessons to support student IEP requirements across EASD.
  • Participate in community and school events as appropriate to disseminate information about prevention-focused topics.
  • Collaborate with school points of contact to support IEP goal tracking through documented participation within small groups.
  • Document completed within the Credible system to track demographics of students within small groups and track progress within curriculum.
  • Meet regularly with their assigned supervisor to review the services being provided.
  • Attend and actively engage in team meetings and professional development opportunities as assigned.
  • Complete and submit documentation in a timely manner, including pre and post-assessments for all educational activities.

Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in a human services discipline.
  • Never have been convicted of any child abuse offenses.
  • Represent an appropriate role model to staff, youth, and families.
  • Have sound judgment and be a mature individual.

Pay

$24/hr to $26/hr

Schedule

Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Occasional ability to navigate stairs. Occasional ability to move from one worksite to another.
