About the role
The Research Foundation for SUNY New Paltz invites applications for a Field Specialist position within the Migrant Education Program.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide direct instructional and academic services to Orange County migrant school-age and out-of-school youth
- Build collaboration and partnerships with school districts, public service agencies, and community organizations
- Recruit and facilitate student participation in local, regional, and statewide activities
- Participate in community and school functions to coordinate and enhance services to youth
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the program workplan
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience with outreach
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet-based systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in education
- Knowledgeable of community resources
- Experience working with immigrant/migrant families and youth
- Self-starter

Pay
Annual salary range: $55,500 – $56,500
