Education Specialist

About the role

This role serves as the primary point of contact for the association’s learning management system (LMS), overseeing vendor relationships, product design and development, and day-to-day customer support. The position plays a key role in shaping the future of the LMS by coordinating enhancements, driving strategic planning, and ensuring a high-quality user experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations, including internal and external customer support, content placement within the authoring system, and the development and execution of policies and procedures.
• Design and develop engaging educational content to be delivered through the platform, supporting the organization’s learning objectives and member needs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required;
• 3 years of experience in continuing adult education, online learning, training and development or other related experience;
• Above average technology and communication skills;
• Customer/member service oriented;

Qualifications

• Association experience, preferred.

Skills

• Strong organizational and project management skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Experience with learning management systems and e-learning platforms;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;

Pay

Anticipated starting salary $58,000-$63,000/year.
