Education Provider Liaison
About the role
Builds and maintains strategic relationships with residents, fellows, and APP students to support their professional development. Manages networking opportunities to connect residents, fellows, and APP students with recruiters and healthcare professionals. Organizes social events, job fairs, and professional gatherings to facilitate connections and career opportunities. Promotes and markets recruitment opportunities and geographical areas to residents, fellows, and APP students. Collaborates with recruitment departments to identify and address the needs and requests of residents, fellows, and APP students. Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and strategies for recruitment and placement. Utilizes recruitment tools and follows up with residents, fellows, and APP students for potential placement. Responds to concerns and communicates with appropriate stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and support. Actively connects residents, fellows, and APP students with opportunities within the organization. Partners with educational institutions to develop lists of candidates and interests for placement.
Responsibilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work well with others using tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to implement initiatives in a strategic manner with minimal supervision, multi-tasking, and take direction in a matrixed work environment.
- Knowledge of medicine and surgical specialties and physician and APP education paths.
- Follow up, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented group.
- Ability to problem solve, identify key challenges, troubleshoot and work with all stakeholders to overcome barriers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Health Science.
- 1+ years of healthcare, physician relations, or sales experience.
Qualifications
