Education Operations Coordinator /Room Scheduling
Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Collaborates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of simple to complex room scheduling system updates and needs.
- Makes recommendations for system upgrades or advancements based on customer needs.
- Develops training materials and conducts trainings for customers, including the creation of a yearly training and communication plan.
- Maintains daily monitoring and accuracy of scheduling site data to support services across campus.
- Communicates with customers proactively to ensure their needs are consistently met and to achieve system-wide excellence.
- Produces reports to track utilization and supports ongoing business process improvement and operations initiatives.
- Trains customers on coordinating with various services to ensure facilities are suitable for educational purposes and meet user needs.
- Maintains the virtual EMS system.
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in education, technology, training, or a related field, required.
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and virtual platforms such as Webex or Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Focus and attention to detail.
- Strong data analysis and analytic thinking.
- Ability to build relationships with leaders at all levels as part of program and conference management.
- Technical knowledge to run reports, build queries, and perform data entry.
Experience
Three years of training and project management experience using data and technology, required.
