Education Mentor, GT School - $150,000/year USD
Location: On-site in Austin (Georgetown), TX (relocation assistance available)
About the Role
You understand the capacity of gifted students firsthand — because you were one yourself. If you've spent years observing that promise wasted through mediocre expectations and standardized instruction, consider this alternative. At gt.school, you guide a cohort of 15–20 K–12 learners through curriculum that moves 5–10x faster than conventional classrooms permit. Your role is to continuously raise expectations: facilitating one-hour life skills workshops covering public speaking, focus, and feedback, while conducting personalized motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics to align individual student objectives with measurable progress in learning applications. You'll witness students who previously struggled with articulation pass the Test2Pass and emerge prepared to present confidently in any setting. Your own academic credentials inform every interaction. There is no prescribed script. This is not traditional classroom instruction. No grading backlog, no classroom behavior management, no watered-down lesson plans designed for the average learner. Those who establish strong performance records here — sustained student satisfaction, 100% goal-completion rates, verified skill mastery — are considered for leadership positions, guiding a small team of colleagues while continuing to mentor their own cohort.
