About the role
We are looking for an Education or Site Director in our program to oversee our infant/toddler, preschool and 3K classrooms. Honeydew Drop’s mission is to provide high quality childcare, parental support and leadership training for childcare providers. Our focus is the social emotional growth and development of the children. We believe that teaching children to become independent, resilient and part of a community will best prepare them for school and life. We have a supportive and positive environment and we are looking for people who are as well. We want to work with serious educators who align with our culture and are willing to work hard in implementing our vision and goals. We are looking for leaders who are used to a fast-paced environment to support the teachers and the families in our program.Responsibilities
Oversee Classroom Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the infant/toddler, preschool and 3K classrooms.
- Ensure all children are safe and healthy.
- Implement curriculum aligned with Honeydew Drop’s mission.
Support Teachers and Families
- Work closely with teachers to support their professional growth.
- Communicate regularly with families to ensure they are satisfied with the program.
- Facilitate parent-teacher conferences and other meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Holds a BA or Masters in ECE (or related field).
- Certification a PLUS.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Lead Teacher.

- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
