About the Role

The Education Coordinator is a hands-on, non-supervisory position responsible for providing logistical, planning, and administrative support for international and domestic USP Education courses. This role focuses on meeting planning, scheduling, project leadership, customer service, and course delivery logistics to advance scientific rigor and public health standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Manager, USP Education Operations, with administrative and logistical details for course programs, including site, faculty, content developers, materials, purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
  • Coordinates USP Education course development and special projects, keeping leadership apprised of progress.
  • Creates, tracks, and manages detailed project plans for multiple projects.
  • Tracks and manages the instructor qualification process.
  • Communicates project status to internal customers and vendors, proactively identifying and resolving obstacles.
  • Writes purchase orders and contracts, obtaining necessary signatures and distributing fully executed copies.
  • Maintains trackers for purchase order expenses, LMS revenue, and course evaluation data.
  • Updates course catalog data in alignment with content development activities.
  • Coordinates logistical aspects of external courses, such as registration, transportation, reservations, vendor management, meeting space, A/V, materials shipment, lab materials, and faculty accommodations.
  • Provides support for course registration for webinars, domestic, and international face-to-face courses.
  • Moderates live online and classroom courses.
  • Edits recorded webinars and webcast videos for on-demand offerings.
  • Assists in producing course training materials (e.g., workbooks, flash drives, badges, sign-in sheets, certificates) to ensure high quality and consistency.
  • Assists customers with questions and monitors USP Education phone/voicemail and email inbox.
  • Provides final course evaluation summary reports to instructors, content developers, SMEs, and USP Education staff, and manages evaluation reviews.
  • Tracks course requests and updates the USP Education team on potential new courses.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of adult (science-based) educational programs and experience in how health science organizations develop, coordinate, and manage such programs is highly preferred.
  • Experience with the Cornerstone OnDemand LMS platform or other LMS platforms is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience creating Articulate RISE content is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HTML coding is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish and ability to review/update translations is preferred.
  • Experience with Planview or software programs to manage contracts and invoices is helpful.
  • Basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to think critically and problem-solve.
  • Proactive, results-oriented focus toward work and deliverables.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

Base Hourly Range: USD $30.88 – $40.15 per hour. Target Annual Bonus: Varies based on role level. Individual compensation packages consider factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and equity.

Schedule

This is a full-time role.
