Job Summary
This role is pivotal in organizing and facilitating educational programs for veterinary professionals. Key responsibilities include developing curriculum materials, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring the seamless delivery of educational content.
Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in veterinary science, education, or equivalent work experience. Advanced degrees (DVM, MSc, or PhD) are preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in curriculum development and coordination of educational programs. In-depth knowledge of veterinary medicine and a passion for promoting continuous learning in the field.
- Skills & Abilities: Organizational and collaborative skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities, familiarity with digital learning platforms, and advanced ability to read, write, and present information clearly.
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Administrative & Organizational Tasks: Develops and maintains office forms and procedures, assists with administrative tasks, types and designs correspondence, proofreads copy, processes invoices, creates SOPs, manages eShow and Microsoft programs, coordinates contractor payroll for speakers.
- Cordination & Collaboration: Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies and vendors, coordinates speakers’ travel, lodging, honoraria, audiovisual needs, and presentation management, assists with course materials, coordinates with marketing, reviews and quality controls website content and educational programs.
- Continuing Education (CE) & Regulatory Compliance: Submits RACE applications, pays applicable fees, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Client & Customer Relations: Maintains professional and courteous demeanor, builds relationships with customers and clients, develops solutions for customer issues, coordinates internal tasks related to accounts, assists new clients.
- Project Management & Risk Assessment: Assesses project interdependencies, identifies potential risks, develops contingency plans.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Assists with annual conference hands-on labs, coordinates creation, speakers, and data entry for these courses.
Communication & Presentation Skills
Advanced ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edit work for spelling and grammar; speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; respond well to questions; demonstrate group presentation skills; and participate in meetings.
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES - CONTINUED
- Technical & Educational Skills: Familiarity with digital learning platforms and technologies, ability to educate a variety of interested parties about the program by developing ongoing relationships and making both formal and informal presentations.
- Availability: Available 12 months per year in-person at our Las Vegas location (not a remote position).

- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit, use hands and fingers, talk or hear, and smell continuously. Ability to stand, walk, and reach frequently. Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally. Lifting and carrying ability to frequently lift and carry up to 10 lbs. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Vision and hearing close vision required to see computer monitors, read documents, and operate copy and fax machines. Distance vision is required to drive an automobile if driving is a requirement of the job.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Indoor and climate-controlled environment. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise levels as found in a business office with computer printers, households with TVs and dishwashers, and driving in light traffic.
