About the Role
Function as a coordinator for all Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities sponsored by The Cooper Health System. Serve as a registrar for all external conferences and manage attendance records for all activities. Provide office support under the direction of the Director of CME.
The individual must have the ability to work in a high-volume and extremely detail-oriented environment, relate effectively to health care professionals, and work under time constraints.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all CME activities sponsored by The Cooper Health System.
- Act as a registrar for external conferences.
- Manage attendance records for all CME activities.
- Provide office support under the direction of the Director of CME.
Requirements
- Extremely computer literate in a Windows environment.
- Experience with CMEmanager, Cactus, Quicken, or similar software programs.
- 3+ years of experience in coordinating medical education or health care meetings, with direct involvement in documentation processes.
- Experience in detail-oriented responsibilities, such as extensive record keeping.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent computer literacy.
- Understanding of ACCME Accreditation Requirements and Policies and AMA PRA Credit System is preferred.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or extensive CME experience preferred.
