Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage biweekly employee orientation schedules, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience from scheduling through completion.
- Schedule and facilitate orientation-related meetings, including new hire meet-and-greet sessions, while coordinating onboarding activities with department leaders, educators, and new employees.
- Maintain orientation calendars and supporting documentation, and communicate schedules, reminders, and updates to participants and stakeholders.
- Cookordinate educational calendars, training sessions, workshops, competencies, and other staff development activities.
- Manage Outlook calendars, schedule meetings, send calendar invitations, and coordinate room reservations and virtual meeting logistics.
- Assist with tracking attendance, competency validations, observations, and educational requirements.
- Assist educators with the administrative preparation and coordination of training programs and educational events.
- Support department communications, distribution lists, and scheduling-related inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication across the organization.
- Maintain department records, reports, and documentation while assisting with data entry, tracking, and reporting needs.
- Support ongoing department projects, process improvement initiatives, and learn various education and learning management platforms as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree preferred.
- Previous administrative, scheduling, or coordination experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, including calendar management and meeting scheduling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience supporting education, training, healthcare, or human resources functions is preferred but not required.
