Education Assessment Analyst
Position Overview
The Chairman's oversight of Joint Professional Military Education depends on rigorous, outcomes-based assessment. The Education Assessment Analyst provides on-site subject-matter expertise at the Pentagon for J-7 program reviews, Staff Advisory Visits, and Process of Accreditation for Joint Education (PAJE) reaffirmations. The role gives JPME program and senior leaders defensible assessments of education performance.
Essential Job Function
- Provide on-site support for outcomes-based military education (OBME) oversight and evaluation.
- Plan, review, and report progress of J-7 Staff Advisory Visits and PAJE reaffirmations on JPME programs.
- Collect and analyze JPME performance data and present findings in writing and at meetings, conferences, and working groups.
- Advise JPMEB on JAMIS and related survey tool capability requirements.
- Develop surveys and generate reports that inform courses of action for program and senior leaders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Doctorate degree from an accredited university or college preferred; or Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years' experience.
- Experience: Demonstrated success in four (4) or more of the following: joint and combined staff organization, functions, and procedures; collecting and analyzing data and presenting findings in writing or orally; JPME experience as a former student, faculty, or institutional-effectiveness role; outcomes-based education expertise; field-grade or above (or civilian equivalent) Joint Staff or similar experience; developing and presenting briefs to senior personnel; survey development and data analysis; and human capital, professional development, leadership, organizational, and speaking skills.
- Security Clearance: TS (per Staffing Plan).
