About the role

Elevate is recruiting a full-time Editor to join our Med Legal team. The Editor will monitor the daily queue to ensure reports are delivered timely, support the contract editing team, review reports for completion, formatting, and correctness, and provide support for other editorial and administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor a daily queue of 30+ reports per day.
• Support contract editors by advising on editing questions.
• Complete final editorial review of reports.
• Provide feedback to peers.
• Compile PDFs and create internal hyperlinks.
• Cooky notarization of legal affidavits.
• Cooky with Operations teams.
• Archive documents in online CMS.
• Edit reports as needed.
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous professional employment experience required.
• Professional writing and/or editing experience highly preferred, or equivalent academic experience.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree preferred.

• Attention to detail.
• Critical thinking skills are a must.
• Able to learn quickly is essential.

Technical Skills

• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Adobe Professional, Outlook, and video conferencing.
• Quickbase navigation (once demonstrated).

Pay

The pay rate for this remote-based role is $25/hour. In addition, Elevate offers full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.

Schedule

The Editor will work the hours of 9am-6pm PST.
