Edibles Production Lead

About the role

The Edibles Production Lead will oversee the production of high-quality cannabis edibles products. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintaining optimal production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production process from start to finish, including ingredient sourcing, formulation, and packaging.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Ensure that all products meet quality control standards and are produced safely.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product formulations and improve existing processes.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the skills necessary to perform their roles effectively.
• Monitor production metrics and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., food science, chemistry, or engineering).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the cannabis industry, preferably in production management.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of cannabis cultivation, extraction, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.

Pay

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
