Competitive Wages And Benefits Family-friendly benefits including Health, Dental and VisionPaid vacationPaid holidaysEmployee meat purchase program Responsibilities Edible Rendering Cooker Operator responsibilities include but are not limited to Monitor operating temperatures and adjust feed or discharge speeds required to maintain discharge temperatures within the upper and lower limitsReport any operational temperature deviations immediately to supervisorMonitor cooking levelsMonitor and report changes in raw bin levelsMonitor application or defoamer, reporting any deviations to supervisorPerform product quality testingClean cooker in-feed magnets at the beginning of each shiftCheck press magnets 2 times per shiftReport any finds regarding the magnets to supervisor Acid application and monitoringSwitching out chemical barrelsMaintain log of barrel switch and lot numbers of barrelsPreform dry pick up and wash down of all edible rendering areasOther duties as assigned This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Edible Rendering Cooker Operator should possess the following Excellent safety and attendance record with previous employerAbility to read, write and speak English preferred but not requiredAbility to lift above the shoulder a minimum of 50 lbsPhysical stamina to work while standing, walking or stooping for long periods of timeAbility to perform all required tasks in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervisor Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
