Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and supplier EDI transactions.
- Design, develop, and maintain EDI maps and trading partner relationships.
- Support EDI, ERP, and eCommerce integrations across the business.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving EDI transactions, data integrity, and system performance.
- Configure, test, and implement B2B and XML-based integrations.
- Collaborate with operations, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain reliable system performance.
- Recommend improvements to business processes and EDI architecture.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
- Cook up training internal users on EDI processes and best practices.
- Coordinate software upgrades, testing, disaster recovery planning, and ongoing maintenance.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Occasionally travel to manufacturing plants to better understand operational processes and support implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years supporting EDI environments within manufacturing.
- Experience developing and maintaining trading partner relationships.
- Knowledge of ANSI X12, XML, and B2B integrations.
- Experience supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
