Requirements

• A master's or terminal degree in an appropriate field of study for the course to be taught is required; however, a terminal degree is preferred in an appropriate field of study for the course to be taught.
• A strong commitment to teaching excellence.
• Previous K-12 or higher education teaching experience in the course content area is strongly preferred.

This is an at-will faculty wage position which does not carry benefits. Opportunities may be available on-grounds at the University of Virginia and online.

Schedule

Positions will be filled on an as-needed basis according to curriculum needs and appointments are typically for teaching a single course.
