Edge Kids Area Manager

About the Role

Our Edge Kids Programming, combined with a Coach's attention, enthusiasm, and creativity, sets the Edge apart. Edge Kids provides an active, upbeat, and motivating atmosphere where Fitness Meets Fun! The Area Lead works with our General Managers and Area Directors to ensure the Edge Kids program is executed to the high standards established by Edge Fitness Clubs. This role spends about 60% of the time teaching and the remaining 40% focused on day-to-day operations and building a top-notch team committed to providing an outstanding member experience.

Responsibilities

• Move, groove, and have fun utilizing our exciting program of activities (training provided).
• Provide outstanding member experience and customer service.
• Engage with children and create a positive, fun atmosphere where kids feel proud of their efforts and accomplishments.
• Train all new hires for Edge Kids and the club as a whole.
• Run high-energy and fun kids' activities.
• Communicate the Edge Kids philosophy and program clearly and professionally to parents.
• Perform administrative duties, including scheduling staff to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, call-outs, and events.
• Interview, coach, and train staff to meet Edge Kids standards.
• Greet parents and check in children in a professional and friendly manner.
• Engage and instruct children in age-appropriate games and activities according to the provided program.
• Support fellow staff in all areas of Edge Fitness Clubs.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and sanitary environment.
• Participate in club and community outreach events.
• Work split shifts and occasional weekend days as required.
