Edge Kids Area Manager

About the Role

Our Edge Kids Programming, combined with a Coach's attention, enthusiasm, and creativity, sets the Edge apart. Edge Kids provides an active, upbeat, and motivating atmosphere where Fitness Meets Fun! As an Area Lead, you will work with our General Managers and Area Directors to ensure the Edge Kids program is executed to the high standards established by Edge Fitness Clubs. This role involves approximately 60% teaching time, with the remainder focused on day-to-day operations and building a top-notch team committed to delivering an outstanding member experience every day.

Responsibilities

• Move, groove, and have fun utilizing our exciting program of activities (training provided).
• Provide outstanding member experience and customer service.
• Engage with children and staff with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive and motivating atmosphere.
• Know and understand the Edge Kids philosophy and program, and communicate it clearly and professionally to parents.
• Train all new hires for the company, both in Edge Kids and the club as a whole.
• Run high-energy and fun kids' activities.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
• Greet parents and check in children to Edge Kids in a professional and friendly manner.
• Instruct children in age-appropriate games and activities according to the provided program.
• Support fellow staff in all areas of Edge Fitness Clubs.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and sanitary environment.
• Participate in club and community outreach events.
• Interview staff with an understanding of Edge Kids standards.
• Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including call-outs and events.
• Coach and train staff to uphold Edge Kids' high standards.
