Eddy Current Laborer / Equipment Operator
About the role
The Eddy Current Laborer / Equipment Operator supports the processing and separation of scrap metal and recyclable materials. This position is responsible for operating a forklift and front-end loader, sorting materials, maintaining product quality, and supporting efficient recycling operations. Successful candidates are self-motivated, dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining quality and productivity.
What you'll do
- Safely operate a forklift and front-end loader to move, sort, and transport materials throughout the facility
- Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Sort and separate scrap metal and recyclable materials while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support production goals and efficient material processing
- Communicate operational concerns and work effectively with supervisors and team members
- Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and promote a culture of safety throughout the facility
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating both a forklift and front-end loader required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to perform physical labor in an industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures
- Reliable attendance and dependability
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity and accuracy

Compensation Structure
$18.00–$20.00 per hour, DOE
