ED Technician Emergency Department - Full Time Night

Location: One Hamilton Health Place, Hamilton, NJ 08619

About the role

Emergency Department Technician provides direct care to a defined group of patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Has the ability to perform technical procedures, works various shifts requiring prolonged periods of walking and standing, utilizes communication skills, good interpersonal skills, time management, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification through American Heart Association (required)
• Telemetry certification (required within 3 months of employment)

Qualifications

• Prior experience in patient care (preferred)
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Nurse's Aide Certification (preferred)
• Medical terminology knowledge (preferred)

Schedule

• Full Time Night shift
• Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and rotating holidays required

Pay

$21.04 - $26.19 per hour
