As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will support emergency department or urgent care by performing basic emergency medical procedures as directed. Under supervision, assists nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions.

Responsibilities

• Assessment of vital signs
• Thermal applications
• Non‑sterile soaks
• Application of simple dressings and splints
• Stool and urine collection
• Transport patients
• Provide coverage for the unit secretary

Requirements

State Issued (CA) Certified EMT or CNA; BLS Healthcare Provider Certification through American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting; experience in emergency services.

Pay

Position Pay Range: $25.95‑$32.56 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑Time; 12‑hour varied shift (72 hours per two‑week pay period).
