ED Tech - Full-Time Night Shift

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care by performing vital signs, 12-lead EKG, blood sugar testing, wound care, oral suctioning, splinting, and safe ambulation instruction.
  • Operate cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, and specialty instruments, ensuring recognition of arrhythmias and proper equipment setup.
  • Transport patients, supplies, equipment, and medications while maintaining a stocked care area.
  • Monitor patients in restraint/seclusion and document observations.
  • Perform procedures using aseptic technique, including sterile tray prep, dressing application, and phlebotomy.
  • Manage telesitter carts, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform safety checks.
  • Monitor patients in restraint, recognize cardiac rhythms, and communicate findings.
  • Ensure environmental safety and respond to escalations.
  • Support patient safety, perform technical procedures, operate monitors, transport patients and supplies, and ensure a safe environment.
  • Comply with all policies and standards to deliver quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum experience as required.
  • Effective communication and computer proficiency.
  • Teamwork and self-motivation.
  • Vital sign obtaining skills.
