ED TECH - CLINICAL SECRETARY
About the role
The ED Tech will provide crucial support and direct patient care in the fast-paced Emergency Department, ensuring efficient operations and compassionate assistance during critical moments.
Responsibilities include:
- Expertly assisting with patient admissions and discharges
- Performing vital signs and basic medical procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Meticulously documenting observations to support the nursing staff and physician team
To be successful, the ED Tech will demonstrate outstanding adaptability, strong communication skills, and a calm, proactive demeanor, contributing significantly to timely patient care and a smooth-running ED.
Requirements
- Successful completion of Emergency Medical Technician program
- Acute care and clinical secretary experience
- Completion of approved Unit Clerk class or equivalent
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
- Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, or
- Emergency Medical Technician: CA, or
- Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic: CA

Pay
The posted compensation range of $24.99 - $31.40 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
The shift is Nights, with a weekly schedule of 72 hours.
