The Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem provides high-quality patient care, utilizing nursing knowledge to promote positive outcomes. While working under close supervision, the RN collaborates with the healthcare team, seeking guidance from senior professionals for complex cases.
Responsibilities
- Conducting patient assessments, examinations, and treatments to deliver personalized care.
- Analyzing patient data to inform medical decisions and treatment plans.
- Implementing prescribed interventions with adherence to protocols for patient safety.
- Facilitating communication within the interdisciplinary team to improve care coordination.
- Seeking guidance on challenging healthcare situations.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- At least 1 year of RN experience, including specialty practice per recognized standards.
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
- BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA.
