About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care, promoting positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practices. Working under general supervision, the role involves coordinating patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and conditions to ensure appropriate care in the assigned unit.
- Analyzing medical history, diagnostic results, and current status to develop individualized care plans.
- Preparing and administering medications and treatments to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Reconciling medical records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluating patient responses to interventions and adjusting care as needed.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care planning.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; clinical specialty experience preferred.
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA.
