About the role

Full‑time emergency nursing position offering a new standardized RN rate. Provides professional emergency nursing care for acutely ill and injured patients across all age groups, includes patient/family education, advocacy, liaison, and precepting.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional emergency nursing care for acutely ill and injured patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Serves as a patient advocate and liaison with other health‑care providers.
• Acts as a preceptor for new employees and students.
• Promotes patient‑centered care through respect of patient values, coordination of care, communication, education, physical comfort, emotional support, family involvement, and continuity of care.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and ancillary departments to create a multidisciplinary team focused on continuous, well‑coordinated care
