About the role
The ED Paramedic is responsible for administering prompt and efficient hospital care to the patient at an Advanced Life Support level. They provide care under the direction of the department leader in the evaluation, treatment of patients operating via in-person medical direction and standing orders (protocols) approved by the hospital. Ensures optimal patient care and a positive patient experience.

- Ensure optimal patient care and a positive patient experience
Requirements
- Certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians – Paramedic level
- Certified by the State of Louisiana as an Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic level
- American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider, ACLS and PALS/ENPC
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
