The Vault Luxury Resale is a nationally recognized, women-owned, second-generation business specializing in high-end luxury resale.

About the role

You will be responsible for researching and evaluating luxury pre-owned products, creating detailed and accurate listings, capturing high-quality images, and optimizing them to increase visibility and drive sales. Additionally, you will generate purchase orders, manage shipping and tracking, and provide exceptional customer service. This position operates independently from our social media department.

Responsibilities

  • Create listings for products based on strategic direction and account priorities.
  • Review and evaluate products: assess condition, identify key features, details, and any potential flaws to ensure accurate and cohesive descriptions.
  • Create product listings, including writing detailed and accurate product descriptions, selecting appropriate categories, and optimizing keywords for search visibility.
  • Photograph, upload, and edit images: take high-quality photos of products and ensure all images meet The Vault Luxury Resale website standards.
  • Set shipping details: specify shipping options and policies, including setting up policy templates for efficient processing and insuring products.
  • Monitor listings: keep an eye on active listings to ensure accuracy and relevance, and revise them as needed to improve performance.
  • Customer interaction: respond to inquiries from potential buyers in a timely and professional manner, helping to drive conversions, and issuing invoices for items not currently listed online.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in eCommerce or selling on online platforms such as eBay, Etsy, Shopify, or Amazon.
  • Experience in product photography and basic image editing; familiarity with DSLR cameras is a plus.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Able to work comfortably for extended periods, either sitting at a desk using a computer or standing to take photographs.
  • Open to adapting, incorporating feedback, and exploring new methods and strategies.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, excellent time management, and keen attention to detail.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Proficient in computer and mobile device usage, and skilled at working independently with effective time management.

Schedule

  • Part-time: 25 to 32 hours per week.
  • Availability is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of two (2) Saturdays per month without restrictions.
  • This position does not offer remote work options.

Pay

Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
