Position Overview

We’re looking for a creative E-commerce Content Specialist to bring The Brick’s products to life online.

Responsibilities

  • Create accurate and engaging product listings
  • Write persuasive product descriptions and SEO-driven blogs
  • Support website merchandising and other initiatives
  • Support QA processes by identifying and correcting website content errors, broken links, and inconsistencies
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance website content, blog posts, product pages, and collections
  • Generate and analyze reports from web analytics tools to support the E-commerce team and other departments
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Purchasing, Image Assets, and other Advertising Teams
  • Affirmative action statement: Support various e-commerce and marketing initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred)
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in optimizing content for search engines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with HTML, CSS
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Listrak, Mailchimp, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with a PIM (Product Information Management) system like Akeneo or Salsify is an asset
  • Experience with a DAM (Digital Asset Management) system like Bynder, AEM or Acquia/Widen is a plus
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager is a plus
