Responsibilities
- Develop a complete digital catalog so that consumers can find and purchase parts online.
- Ensure that the parts data is clean, accurate, and formatted correctly for incorporation into the applicable systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve the catalog data and provide information to guide the company’s future strategy on systems and the flow of data.
- Manage day-to-day operations of eCommerce Platform. Submit requests for development support if necessary.
- Fully develop parts profiles by taking 3-5 images per part and load into the database and website with appropriate alt-attributes.
- Manage product images and other digital assets utilizing industry best practices.
- Build and maintain a database of all product attributes including product descriptions, images, classification, individual product attributes, and fitment.
- Determine customer requirements as they relate to the Company focus and apply them to the catalog.
- Demonstrate understanding of products and their application with appealing product titles and descriptions, item dimensions, packaging details, and images. Describe product features and their benefits to the customer.
- Collaborate with marketplace managers to create new item listings for all marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, & Google Shopping.
- Collaborate with the Parts team to analyze product assortment for new markets, brands, and upcoming opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to collect product content information to produce high-quality product data within required specifications.
- Manage and maintain product classifications, hierarchies, and taxonomies across assigned product lines utilizing internal processes and accepted industry practices.
- Facilitate data syndication to e-commerce stores, marketplaces, and internal and external systems while ensuring data integrity and security.
