About the Role

DSG is seeking an Eclipse Enterprise Support Analyst to support, maintain, and improve key administrative functions within the Epicor Eclipse ERP environment and related enterprise applications. This role focuses on user administration, authorization and entitlement strategy, release management, system configuration support, training, documentation, and data maintenance activities that help ensure the ERP system is secure, reliable, accurate, and aligned with business needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and customer service skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, and branch associates. This role requires a willingness to support users, improve processes, maintain system controls, and help drive enterprise applications forward. Responsibilities

  • Administer Epicor Eclipse user setup, user changes, terminations, role assignments, and related access requests.
  • Document, manage, and create new Eclipse phantoms as necessary.
  • Complete branch and territory setup and maintenance.
  • Complete Eclipse network printer setup and maintenance.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement ERP authorization, entitlement, and security strategies in partnership with IT and business leadership.
  • Review user access and permissions to support appropriate segregation of duties, data security, and operational controls.
  • Support and manage ERP-related support queues, including intake, prioritization, documentation, resolution, and escalation of requests.
  • Provide primary support for assigned Epicor Eclipse functions, including sales-facing processes, order entry, customer-related activity, branch operations, and other assigned ERP areas.
  • Coordinate, test, document, and support Epicor Eclipse releases, patches, upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate release impacts, coordinate user acceptance testing, and communicate changes to affected users.
  • Train sales team members and other associates on ERP processes, system changes, best practices, and new functionality.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation, SOPs, training materials, job aids, and instruction manuals for ERP processes and administrative procedures.
  • Complete mass uploads and bulk maintenance activities for approved customer, product, pricing, branch, user, authorization, or other ERP data changes.
  • Validate data uploads and configuration changes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with approved business requests.
  • Assist with setting up new branches, acquisitions, integrations, data migrations, conversions, and post-conversion validation.
  • Provide problem analysis and resolution for ERP issues, working with internal teams, vendors, and business users as needed.
  • Document requests related to support, training, entitlements, system configuration, data changes, and process improvements.
  • Assist in integrating new applications, tools, and technologies that interact with Epicor Eclipse or other enterprise applications.
  • Participate in project meetings, provide input and suggestions, and represent ERP administration considerations during planning and rollout activities.
  • Assist with centralized help desk support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field; or an associate degree with equivalent technical or professional experience related to enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting, administering, or using ERP systems; Epicor Eclipse experience strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of ERP user administration, role-based access, permissions, entitlements, and security concepts.
  • Ability to learn and apply business processes across sales, operations, finance, branch, and customer-facing ERP functions.
  • Experience with release coordination, testing, change communication, and rollout support preferred.
  • Ability to complete and validate bulk data maintenance or mass upload activities with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-resolution skills.
  • Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create SOPs, training materials, process guides, and user instructions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive access, security, and business data appropriately.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively while managing competing requests and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment as required.
  • Experience in the wholesale/distribution industry a plus.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
  • Ability to travel to branch sites as needed.
