Responsibilities
Perform various echocardiograms (2D, M-Mode, Doppler, TEE, stress echo) following established standards.
- Ensure patient safety and proper identification
- Prepare patients
- Operate advanced ultrasound equipment
- Document procedures accurately
- Support quality assurance
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate professionally with team members
- Resolve conflicts
- Prioritize STAT and routine orders
- Participate in ongoing education
Qualifications
An Associate degree or completed accredited echo training is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Certification (RDCS or RCS) is mandatory
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification is preferred

- Experience with Philips ultrasound systems
- Experience with TEE probes
- Experience with electronic health records
- Effective communication

- Ability to work independently and in a team
Schedule
This role involves flexible hours, variable shifts, and working on weekends and holidays to support patient care needs.
