ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER

About the role

As a Cardiac Sonographer at Moffitt, you will provide diagnostic medical sonography services across various clinical specialties. Responsibilities include maintaining proficiency with echo/ultrasound equipment, collaborating with the interprofessional care team, completing daily clerical tasks, and providing on-call coverage as scheduled. You will serve as an ambassador for the department and the Center by demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and bubble studies.
• Administer contrast-enhancing agents.
• Maintain proficiency with echo/ultrasound equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the interprofessional care team.
• Complete daily clerical tasks.
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service as a department and Center ambassador.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS certification (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Proficiency in transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and bubble studies.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification.

Pay

Salary range: $35.30 - $53.79 per hour. Ranges represent expected base pay and may vary based on location, experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Moffitt is committed to maintaining fair and equitable pay practices.
