Echocardiographer

Responsibilities

• Performs all Echocardiogram and Doppler tests resulting in successful readings.
• Aids in other departmental testing as needed, adhering to departmental protocols.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles, especially for middle and senior adults.
• Selects appropriate equipment, conducts tests, and interacts with clients and their families based on these principles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in cardiology testing
• Completed echo courses in M-Mode and 2-D and Doppler Echocardiography
• CPR trained - Healthcare Provider level
• ARDMS or CCI certification required
• Typing skills
• Ability to perform EKGs, Holter Monitor scanning, Treadmill preparation, Echocardiograms, and Dopplers
