About the role
We are seeking a skilled Echocardiograph Technologist to perform cardiac ultrasound exams following physician orders, utilizing advanced ultrasound equipment in a patient-focused environment. Join a diverse, supportive team committed to exceptional care and community service.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound exams to identify disease presence or absence
- Assist with invasive procedures such as Transesophageal echocardiography and echo-guided biopsies
- Modify procedures to meet specific clinical needs
- Comply with American Society of Echocardiography standards and departmental policies
- Participate in shared standby and emergency call-back duties
- Cover regional and weekend shifts as needed
Requirements
- Valid Oregon Sonographer or National Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentials
- BLS certification
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Associate's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 800 exams completed
- Pediatric echocardiography experience
- Familiarity with advanced heart failure support devices and trans-catheter procedures
Schedule
Full-time, day shift with potential regional and weekend coverage.
