Echocardiograph Technologist - Full-Time

About the role

Seeking an Echocardiograph Technologist to perform advanced cardiac ultrasound examinations in a full-time, day-shift role.

Responsibilities

• Conducting cardiac ultrasound procedures based on physician orders using complex equipment.
• Identifying disease presence through thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Assisting with invasive procedures such as Transesophageal echocardiography, echo-guided biopsies, and stress echocardiography.
• Modifying procedures to meet specific clinical needs while adhering to standards set by professional organizations and departmental policies.
• Providing shared emergency coverage, including evenings and weekends, with regional and shift rotations.

Qualifications

Required: Certification as a Sonographer (Oregon or national registry), or equivalent, and BLS certification.

Preferred: Associate's degree in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with experience in cardiovascular ultrasound, pediatric echocardiography, and advanced heart failure support devices.
