Echocardiograph Technologist

About the Role

Performs transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in various hospital settings. Delivers high-quality cardiac imaging to support patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities

• Conducts echocardiograms across different patient age groups and clinical areas.
• Ensures accurate imaging and adheres to clinical protocols.
• Maintains equipment and records procedures appropriately.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an ultrasound program.
• National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: prior experience as a cardiac sonographer.

Skills

• Strong technical skills in echocardiography.
• Excellent patient communication and care skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
