Echocardiogram Technician

About the role

We are seeking a self-motivated, hardworking, and multi-talented individual to join our dynamic team at Pacific Mobile Diagnostics (PMD). Our team includes professionals who make a daily impact in our communities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with nurses, doctors, administrators, families, x-ray and ultrasound technicians throughout the shift
• Adjust tech routes to meet patient and facility needs
• Perform all requested radiographic examinations as ordered in a timely and efficient manner
• Prepare requisition and patient history (including study performed, number of views, physician, insurance info)
• Contact referring physicians when required, according to established procedures
• Verify scripts
• Coordinate with other staff to ensure appropriate patient care is provided
• Organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties as required
• Maintain assigned equipment and vehicles in proper working order
• Interact with multiple nursing homes and home health staff with professionalism, representing the mobile service industry in a positive manner
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and patients, gaining their trust and respect
• Provide outstanding customer service to our customers and their patients, maintaining patient confidentiality in all areas
• Able to work independently and under pressure

Qualifications

• Demonstrate current competency and skills by documentation of BS, AS degree, or certification in Echocardiograms (either through ARDMS or CCI)
