How you’ll make an impact in this role
Perform advanced cardiac imaging procedures (both routine and complex) to provide physicians with the critical diagnostic data needed to design accurate patient treatment plans.
Maneuver and optimize specialized imaging equipment and transducers with precision, ensuring the highest quality visualization of cardiac structures.
Identify critical pathologies, artifacts, and structural anomalies in real-time, escalating urgent findings promptly to safeguard patient health.
Maintain rigorous safety and quality control standards across all equipment and procedures to guarantee a safe, compliant, and reliable environment for every patient.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Registry Eligible Radiation Therapist specializing in Cardiac Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- ARDMS registered in adult echo or registry eligible.
- If registry eligible, must achieve registered status within 6 months of hire.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
High School plus specialized training in Echocardiography required. Associate's degree preferred.
Work Experience
Previous work experience in Adult or Pediatric Echo preferred.
